The Summit Aesthetics is a physician-owned medical spa in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, where two providers deliver every treatment. Dr. Charles Dennis – our physician-owner – personally performs every injectable, including Botox, Daxxify, dermal fillers, and lip fillers. Lori Barone, our lead aesthetic provider, personally performs every laser, skin-health, and body treatment – including CO₂ resurfacing, RF microneedling, IPL, laser hair removal, EVERESSE, VI Peels, DiamondGlow, and TruSculpt iD. You will see the same provider on every visit. There are no rotating injectors, no delegated syringes, and no first-visit-with-a-stranger surprises. That continuity is the entire point of how we practice.

Dr. Charles Dennis owns The Summit Aesthetics and personally performs every neuromodulator and dermal filler treatment we offer. Every Botox unit, every Daxxify unit, every syringe of Juvéderm or RHA – placed by him, not delegated. That is unusual in the industry, where the majority of injectables in a typical medical spa are performed by nurse injectors or physician assistants under distant supervision.
His philosophy is straightforward: “Every injection I place, I place with the same care I’d want for my own family. That’s the standard – nothing more permissive, nothing less rigorous.”

Lori Barone is a Certified Cosmetic Laser Technician, Licensed Cosmetologist, and Certified Laser Safety Officer with more than 5 years of experience performing aesthetic treatments. She manages The Summit Aesthetics day to day and personally delivers every laser, skin-health, and body-contouring treatment on our menu. When you book a laser session at The Summit Aesthetics, Lori is the one performing it – the first time, the tenth time, and every time after.
Her philosophy is patient-first, plan-first: “I design every treatment plan around your concerns, your lifestyle, your goals, and the downtime you can actually take – never a one-size-fits-all protocol.”

our approach
Why "provider-consistent care" is our whole approach
Most medical spas rotate providers. You see a nurse injector the first visit, a different one the second visit, an esthetician handles your laser sessions, and no single person owns your plan. That model is efficient for the practice – and it’s how a small variance in injection depth, unit count, or laser fluence turns into inconsistent results over a year.
We do the opposite. One physician performs every injectable. One provider performs every laser and skin treatment. That is the entire structure of the practice.
The tradeoffs are real, and we’ll name them plainly:- We are smaller than the multi-provider practices in the area.
- We book further out for new consultations (typically two to three weeks).
- We can’t offer same-day walk-ins for injectables.
What you get in return is continuity – a provider who remembers your face, your dose, your muscle patterns, your history, and your goals from one visit to the next. That is the difference between a treatment and a treatment plan.

What your first appointment looks like
Every new patient begins with a complimentary 45-minute consultation. There is no card, no obligation, and no upsell script.
You will:
- Meet the provider who will actually perform your treatments (Dr. Dennis for injectables, Lori for lasers and skin).
- Talk through your goals, medical history, current skincare, and lifestyle.
- Receive a written plan – the treatments we recommend, the sequence, the realistic timeline, and what results to expect at each phase.
- Leave with the plan in hand. No booking pressure. You decide when, or whether, to move forward.

How long is the first consultation?
Typically 45 to 60 minutes. We never rush it – the consultation is the foundation of every treatment plan we build. You will leave with a written plan, whether or not you choose to proceed.
Do I have to commit to a full plan?
No. The consultation is complimentary and the written plan is yours to take home. Many patients start with a single treatment, see how they respond, and build from there. Others begin a phased plan on the first visit. Both are fine.
Who actually performs my treatments?
Dr. Charles Dennis performs every injectable – Botox, Daxxify, dermal fillers, and lip fillers. Lori Barone performs every laser, skin-health, and body treatment – including CO₂ resurfacing, RF microneedling, IPL, Laser Genesis, laser hair removal, laser vein removal, EVERESSE, TruSculpt iD, DiamondGlow, VI Peels, and dermaplaning. There are no rotating injectors and no delegated treatments.
Is Dr. Dennis board-certified?
Yes.
What if I only want one treatment, not a full plan?
That’s completely fine. Some patients come in for a single Botox appointment or a single laser session with no interest in a broader plan. We treat those visits with the same care and never pressure you into add-ons.
Is the consultation really free?
Yes. There is no consultation fee, no card required at booking, and no charge if you decide not to move forward with treatment. The complimentary consultation is how we begin every relationship.
