How to get to us from Scranton
We are directly north of downtown Scranton – a straightforward drive of approximately 15 minutes depending on your starting neighborhood and traffic. Two main routes work well:
Fastest: I-81 North
From any of the I-81 on-ramps in Scranton, take I-81 North to Exit 194 (Clarks Summit). From the exit, follow US-11 South toward downtown Clarks Summit. Turn onto North State Street. We’re a short block up on the left. Typical drive time from downtown Scranton: 12 to 15 minutes.
Scenic: US-11 direct
For a more direct surface-street route, take US-11 (Main Avenue) North from Scranton directly through Dickson City and Clarks Summit. Turn onto North State Street. Typical drive time from downtown Scranton: 15 to 18 minutes.
From further afield
From Wilkes-Barre, Kingston, or Pittston, I-81 North is the most direct route. From the Dunmore area, US-11 or the I-81 connectors both work well. From West Scranton and Green Ridge, both routes are approximately equivalent in time.

Dr. Charles Dennis is the physician-owner of our practice. Every injectable treatment we offer – every unit of Botox, every syringe of Juvéderm, every unit of Daxxify – is placed personally by Dr. Dennis. There is no delegation to a nurse injector or aesthetician. There is no rotation between injectors. If you book an injectable treatment with us, Dr. Dennis performs it.

How far is The Summit Aesthetics from downtown Scranton?
Approximately 15 minutes by car via I-81 North or US-11. Most Scranton neighborhoods are within a 12 to 20 minute drive. Our location at 116 North State Street in Clarks Summit sits directly north of downtown Scranton and is easily accessible from all major Scranton neighborhoods.
Is there a medical spa in Scranton itself?
Scranton has several medical spa options. If proximity is your absolute top priority and a 12 to 15 minute drive is more than you want, a Scranton-based practice may be the right choice for you. If your top priority is that the physician-owner personally performs every injectable and the same lead provider performs every laser and skin treatment across all your visits, our practice structure is different from what most Scranton-based medical spas offer – and that structural difference is why our patients drive to us.
Do you accept new patients from Scranton?
Yes, we actively welcome new patients from Scranton and the surrounding communities. The consultation is complimentary, and there is no obligation to book treatment. New patient consultations typically book two to three weeks out.
Do you have parking?
Yes. Free on-site parking is available directly at the practice. No parking meters, no garages, no walking blocks from the car.
Do you offer evening or weekend appointments?
Our current hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 10 AM to 6 PM, Wednesday 10 AM to 7 PM (later Wednesday evening hours), and Friday 10 AM to 2 PM. We do not currently offer Saturday or Sunday appointments. Patients traveling from Scranton often schedule during our Wednesday evening hours to accommodate work schedules.
Do you offer treatment packages or memberships?
We offer series pricing (bundled discounts) on treatments that are typically done in a series – chemical peels, Virtue RF, Laser Genesis, laser hair removal, and Diamond Glow. Dr. Dennis and Lori will discuss series pricing at your consultation for any treatments recommended in a series format.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. We partner with Cherry and PatientFi for 0% APR monthly payment plans, plus CareCredit and Alle. Most patients are approved in minutes with no impact on their credit score. Financing details are available at consultation.
